Your privacy is important to Ambiência and is committed to protect the personal information that you share with us. When Ambiência need your personal information to provide services that you request or when you choose to provide us with your personal information, this policy describes how we collect and use your personal information.

Personal information

Personal information means any information that may be used to identify an individual, including. For example, you may want to give us information, such as your name and address or e-mail id, to correspond with you, to process an order, or to provide you with a subscription. The Ambiência intend to let you know how we will use such information before we collect it from you; if you tell us that you do not want us to use this information to make further contact with you beyond fulfilling your requests, we will respect your wishes.

Using and Sharing Personal Information

Your personal information is never shared outside Ambiência without your permission, except under conditions explained below. Inside Ambiência, data is stored in controlled servers with limited access. The majority of the information collected under this category is business contact information. Ambiência may need to share some of this information (address, payment) with delivery services, Ambiência also need to send the information to companies who work on behalf of Ambiência to provide a product or service to you, and they are prohibited from using that information for any other purpose.
As a result of legal requirements Ambiência may be required to provide personally identifiable information to comply with legally mandated reporting, disclosure or other legal process requirements.

Communications, Preferences and Opt-Out

Ambiência allows visitors to self-select into communities, through the registration process, as a way to provide initial customization to the Ambiência site. There are also plans to provide more control over preferences and information delivery in the registration process.

Communications Choices

Ambiência recognizes that users may not wish to be contacted about new or related products. Ambiencia.com allows you to opt-out of e-mail marketing that may result from use of the site. These choices may be made as part of the registration process or from links in marketing mailings. If you have any problems in using these opt-out mechanisms, please send an e-mail to privacy@ambiencia.com, indicate opt-out in the subject line and specify what problem you have encountered in the body of the message. There are a few limited exceptions to the opt-out, but notice is provided that the service includes certain communications. These exceptions include: patch and product security update related communications, defined communications related to product download, specific communications that are part of the reason for a specific trading or user community - such as price/product related communications to the members of our partner network or trade opportunity postings on an exchange and some limited communications related to registration for and attendance at conferences.

Security

Ambiência is concerned with the security of the personally identifiable information we have collected and has in place reasonable measures to prevent unauthorized access to that information. These measures include - policies, procedures, and technical elements relating to data access controls.

Policy Updates

If we are going to use your personally identifiable information in a manner different from that stated at the time of collection we will notify you via email. You will have a choice as to whether or not we use your information in this different manner. In addition, if we make any material changes in our privacy practices that do not affect user information already stored, we will post a prominent notice on this Web site notifying users of the change. In some cases where we post the notice we will also email users, who have opted to receive communications from us, notifying them of the changes in our privacy practices.
